Volunteer with Us

Our volunteers are a vital part of the Silver Spring Studio family. From helping facilitate workshops to supporting participants during sessions, volunteers bring energy, skills, and heart to everything we do. No specific qualifications are required - just a genuine enthusiasm for creativity and inclusion.

Workshop Support

Assist instructors during art, cooking, crafts, and garden sessions - helping participants work through activities at their own pace.

Garden Helpers

Help tend the studio garden, support planting sessions, and work alongside participants in our outdoor growing spaces.

Content & Photography

Capture behind-the-scenes moments during sessions to help document the studio's story on social media and the website.

Skills-Based Support

Have a skill to share - woodworking, cooking, pottery, music? We'd love to have you lead or co-lead a session as a guest instructor.

Time commitment: Flexible - we welcome both one-time and recurring volunteers. Most sessions run weekdays and Saturdays.

Requirements: Volunteers working directly with participants must provide a valid Vulnerable Sector Check. We can guide you through the process.
